Lida Xydia was born in Athens in 1985.  She has been painting since she remembers herself. She has studied free hand drawing (with Mr Belteko and Sarasiti) and graduated with Distinction from Athens School of Fine Arts in Painting with teachers Mr. Botsoglou, Mr. Merabelioti and Mr. Tzako and in Engraving with Mr. Tsalamata and Mr. Kazako.  Furthermore, she has taken special courses in education (such as psychology in education, teaching in fine arts).  She has also studied in School of Fine Arts in Granada (Spain) with Mr. Paco Baños Torres in Faculty of Strategies in Virtual Creation” (Erasmus scholarship 2004-2005).

She has taken plenty of seminars in puppet making, land art, art and therapy, symbols in art etc.  Most important of all were the seminars of the storyteller Mrs Lili Lambrelli, which opened the doors to the magic world of traditional tales.

She has worked in painting workshops cialis coupons and private colleges teaching painting and fine art to children and adults and she has been responsible of a fine art workshop for children of minority groups.

Moreover, she has followed a two-year study of jewelry making and has studied traditional music in Music School of Athens (Odeio Athinon with Mrs Sofia Lampropoulou-kanun and Mr. Christos Tsiamoulis- theory) and in Centre of Eastern music studies (with Mr. Nikos Andrikos).   

As a painter, she has participated in exhibitions in Greece and overseas.

Today, she has her own workshop in painting and fine arts in Mytilene, where she has the possibility and opportunity to create, learn, exchange and transfer knowledge in art.
